what some people fail to realize is this. A promoter gets paid by his star fighter. That money, he uses it to pay the lower tier fighters who are up and coming and can produce the type of money pac can cuz they are not yet at that level. So floydie gets all that money, ok... what about all the TMT fighters or the GBP fighters? What money are they gonna get if floydie takes it all? Remember, "Floyd mayweather fights for floyd mayweather. As long as I'm happy".He gets a piece of the pie through his promotional pact with Pacquiao. If Manny makes say $20 mil for fighting Algieri, Arum gets 30% of that (plus other revenues). If Pac gets $100 mil for fighting Floyd, Arum gets 30% of that (plus other revenues).
So if by your estimation Arum is a 'greedy pig', why would he want $6 million+ instead of $30 million+? You're not making any damn sense.
And him fronting the money to build a stadium increases his take many times over. Instead of relying on a third party like the MGM, he'd be on his own and keep ALL the revenue as opposed to settling for a site fee and possible small % of the gate. With 30K fans (as opposed to the 18K at the MGM), they were looking at a possible $40-45 million gate, Not a bad return on a $15 mil investment for a temporary stadium.
But what does a 'greedy pig' want with all that money?Comment

If you'll recall, when Pac was a free agent, he sent his right hand man to fly from the Philippines to Vegas to personally, face-to-face, meet with Floyd to get the fight done. Floyd made a bull**** offer he knew they would turn down ($40 mil w/ no revenue sharing on a fight that would've generated upwards of $200 million). Manny countered with an offer of $50 mil guaranteed for both fighters plus a 55-45 split on the revenue, with the winner getting the lion's share.
Koncz even brought representatives from Falcon Hawk Entertainment (headed by Michael Jackson's father Joe and other music producers) who were to provide the $100 million for the guarantees. You can see Koncz, Jackson, and Donny Rucker (music producer) in this photo with Floyd at his gym:

So Pacquiao the free agent went completely out of his way to personally make the fight happen, even found financial backers for the fighter purses... and Floyd responded by signing on to fight Pac's leftovers in Cotto.

Did arum speak about a temporary stadium? Has pac stated even recently that he wants to fight duckweather? Did floydie fight cotto at 147 lbs or did he "retire"? Remember, you cant offer a fight to a fighter who's "retired". "Im gonna retire from boxing, boxing is not gonna retire me".the temporary stadium doe, pac wants the fight doe,but is only vocal when hes preparing for a fight, floyd ducking cotto doe, even though floyd had no negotiations with cotto....all this has came from arums mouth and you obviously believe it because you spew it on here all the time.Comment

10 years is life long? arum has so many more fighters on his roster that could make him money not just pac.....and if a promoter you had a "life long" relationship with screwed you out of money because you wanted out of your contract wouldnt you have a distaste for the man???? and who ducked the fight on 3 differnt occasions by saying" blood drains me", "scared of needles","21 day cuttoff" ect, ect, oh but i guess to you thats pac and arum wanting the fight!lolAnd if you was a life long promoter of pacquiao wouldnt you want a "piece of the pie". Why shouldn't he? What cuz floydie has problems with him? If he really had problems with arum, he would have they BOTH would have not tried on 3 occassions to make the pac fight. Common sense, something you lack.Comment
