But De La Hoya's company co-promoted Mayweather's fights for the last seven years. Most knew that relationship was coming to an end when Mayweather's close friend, Richard Schaefer, quit his post as Golden Boy CEO in June. And then Mayweather's company, Mayweather Promotions, obtained their own promotional license in Las Vegas.

The second biggest fight in boxing is canelo vs cotto and if it happens in cinco de mayo it would be fireworks. Floyd has always tried to reserve this spot but now he is outdone by golden boy this is all about the dineros.

Floyd is mad that he's going to have to retire now...only way Oscar moves off that May date is for Mayweather-Pacquiao, and we already know Floyd still has "my health comes first" problems...

Floyd-Khan especially after that Maidana II snooze fest will never compete with Canelo-Cotto, and Showtime/CBS is not going to invest in that fight on the same night...so either Floyd moves off that date or retires LOL.. Not to mention, I'd bet Showtime/CBS hopes that Floyd retires rather than it lose money on another Floyd fight... Floyd is never going to see a million PPV buys again...

Floyd went out of his way to make obstacles after pretending to offer a fight with pac. If floyd really wanted this fight it would have happened years ago.

LOL Floyd's recent behavior is that of a person who is done. Showtime/CBS is sick of him and doesn't want to lose anymore money on these below 1 million PPV buy-fights... journalists like even Stephen A. Smith are done defending him and are coming around to what everyone has known about Floyd ducking Pacquiao... and now even Oscar is going to take his Cinco De Mayo date away from him LOL

Floyd makes no money outside of boxing, he's a woman-beater he has no endorsement money and Mayweather Promotions is a joke with no notable fighters under its stable...

LOL Angry Floyd will walk take a quiet walk into obscurity in the next coming years.. he'll be known as the guy who ducked Pacquiao and cost Showtime/CBS to lose money in one of the worst network contracts of all time...

Because Oscar is known for winning his biggest fights, right? He gets schooled worse than he did in 2007.

You know, the chatter around here lately is starting to sound an awful lot like before Mayweather-Mosley. Boy that quickly became a "cherrypick" once Mayweather dominated him, didn't it?
