Common sense also would say that he would not try to make the fight when Pac was at his most dangerous, only to be afraid to fight him later when he is much less dangerous.

Floyd Sr didnt really mean it when he said his son will fight Pac, he been saying my son can whoop pac easy but I wont let my son fight him for ages. Just like Floyd said ill whoop Pac easy yet has never stepped in the ring all talk no walk, but Floyd sr does want Floyd jr to fight Khan. But Floyd jr might see Khan as a threat with his speed and flurries, Floyd NEVER fights guys who can dance and move on their feet in the ring and throw lots of angled shots. he mainly fights flat foot slow guys he can time.
