He's reportedly fighting on the card with Lucian Bute's return on Dec 6 in Montreal.

Too bad making a fight with the WBC champion will be too hard because of promotional differences

Hopefully the other sanctioning organizations will include him when their new rankings come out.

We're due for new IBF and WBO rankings any day now.

Campillo is #2 in the IBF, and #9 in the WBC. If Beterbiev fights and beats him, he'll be in the top 5 in the IBF, and in the top 10 in the WBC.

Why? What's with Drozd? As far as I know Beterbiev can fight Drozd and if he will be nr1 in WBC ranking the champion has to fight him sooner or later regardless of promotional differences.

Yes, Campillo would be perfect as Beterbiev's next opponent.

But after his experience with Kovalev, will Campillo want to fight Beterbiev?

If not, maybe Beterbiev could fight Cedric Agnew, Beibut Shumenov, Tommy Karpency or Cornelius White.
