Comments Thread For: Brook's Trainer: Kell Ready To Face Amir Khan Next

IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (33-0) is prepared to face Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) in his very next fight, according to the champion's trainer Dominic Ingle. Brook captured the championship in August with a twelve round decision over previously undefeated Shawn Porter. Brook will be physically prepared to return to action in February.

By beating Khan, Ingle says Brook will become a legitimate option for a unification with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Brook-Khan... right fight to be made.
When PAC beats Algieri,... Floyd-PAC SHOULD be made. But Floyd doesn't want it.

He'll choose Floyd-Khan. Brook will end up fighting someone else.

Amazing. No mention of the fact Brook was stabbed and hospitalised. Just want to go back and fight the best.

          Take that Mayweather.

This fight should happen with the winner getting Mayweather or Thurman.

Why should the winner get Thurman? Why would he deserve a shot above others? The guy has done nothing this year, so no way should he just be able to walk right on in.

The winner should get Mayweather though, that just makes the most sense.
