    Toney: Rock lacks heart!

I'm a real fighter, Hasim Rahman ain't," said heavyweight contender James Toney today. "I'm going to destroy him. I'm going to knock him out." Toney, who challenges for Rahman's WBC title on March 18 in Atlantic City, also stated that the champion is lacking in the one area that really counts: the heart. Regarding a scuffle he had with Rahman in Cancun last December, Toney said, "He scratched me on my lip like a little b---h. He thinks he's some big bad a--, but he ain't. He's a little p---y." Toney commented that when he enters the ring against Rahman, he is also entering as heavyweight champion. "I'm the IBA champion of the world and I'm the people's champion." In response to claims by Rahman yesterday that he would knock out James or make him quit, Toney said "Tell him to keep his promise. I'll be ready."
Things are heating up between the two, lets just hope they come to fight as well as they talk, Im so glad this isnt a ppv....

      GREAT CALL

he's pretty lazy at times, in and out of the ring, which is sad because he may have the most physical gits of any current title-holder

To me anyone who has been brutally KOed as many times as Rahman has a good heart to step back into the ring.I do think Toney wins a UD but I doubt Toney has the punch to KO Rahman.

yeah, I can't see Toney beating any heavyweight by KO

but I can see him ducking Rock's overhand right and following with his own counter left hook-straight right combo, OVER AND OVER AND OVER, for 12 rounds

Toney's counter straight right-left hok downstairs will also be a huge factor, it might be the best counter-combo in the business

.....I didn't really give a **** about this fight at first but it's starting to interest me more and more. I'm getting the feeling that it really may be personal and they really do dislike each other. I am giving Rahman a better chance than I originaly did. I still favor Toney but Rahman seems genuinely pissed off more and more. One of these days, Toney's fat old body is gonna fail him in the ring.
