Should Lomachenko be fighting the other champions?

What career path should Vasyl Lomachenko follow? 2 wins, 1 loss and he's a champion.

Should he look to unify? Or have a bum of the month club for a bit to peak on his technique, likely to be fighting durable mexican and asian fighters.

I think he's in a special place to do something different. Go unify and go for it all while he can. Nothing is promised in life. And he's no spring chicken.

He should be looking to avenge his Salido L, too.

He wants to unify, he said in a interview that the best at 126 will be achieved by the other champions facing each other. Now whether Arum or his team make that happen is another story, but he said if he cant get that he always wants the highest ranked opponents.

Gradovich and Donaire/Walters winner seem like naturals for his next fight after this mandatory. But it's Bob Arum we are talking about, his mood shifts with the breeze.

The guy has so little experience in the pro game, I think he should get a lesser caliber guy or 2 before fighting another top guy... But fall 2015 would love to see him fight the other champs

He could aim high all he wants, for his accomplishments he won't get as much credit as Mayweather fighting easy predictable wins.

Dude, Mayweather has been undefeated for 17 years and won championships in five different weight classes. Of course Lomachenko at 2-1 isn't going to get the same credit. Nor should he...WTF is wrong with you?

He should defend his title once and rematch Salido before unification fight.

I think he should start whooping on decent but overmatched contenders for a few fights. And do so actively, not once or twice a year.

He got the belt, we're all impressed, now it's time to be sure this dude has teeth before throwing him in with the wolves.
