Comments Thread For: CompuBox: Taylor's Jab, Soliman's Knee With Key Roles

Close fight if not for the four knee-injury-induced knockdowns suffered by Sam Soliman, who saw himself on the losing end of a twelve round unanimous decision. The underdog, former undisputed middleweight champion Jermain Taylor, who landed 34% of his jabs, will be the underdog once again in his mandatory defense of the IBF middleweight crown against the hard-hitting French slugger Hassam N'Dam.

I know a lot of u want to throw Taylor under the bus.... And I am with you

He could not get a guy to submit with one leg?? He was completely smothering Soliman to the point where he could not even stand up (clearly tactics). If Taylor dies in the ring, it will be these ****-kicker Athletic Commissions that will be to blame. Taylor needs to retire

Great win for Taylor. Hopefully he doesn't get sent to jail next.

No he doesn't -- they will wait until he will shoot someone dead... as dead as a dead duck.

That honestly might be the best case scenario, depressing as that sounds. Taylor serves jail time, gets stripped, and doesn't have to get his brains scrambled against someone good and with two legs.

Somewhere Miguel Cotto is cursing himself for not getting the fight with a one legged Soliman

Definitely a lost opportunity to become the first unified cripple bashing champion.
