^why do you floyd fans always bring up Justin Fortune? Is it because you cannot use Ariza name anymore since he is working with Floyd and he was the go to go to discredit Pac? Marquez has taken way more punishment than Mosley, even in his last few fights he took a brutal beating before KOing Pac, and he was getting hit in the Alvarado fight by a bigger man.
Mosley most brutal bout was against Vernon Forrest. Also Marquez pretty much takes beatings in most of his recent fights, even in the Katsidis fight he was taking a beating before he finished him.Comment

Shanes power was different. It was his speed that took guys out and his ability to outwork them. Even in his prime he threw everything but the kitchen sink and Oscar just ate the shots all night. I agree shane could beat a few guys still at 147 but his knockouts came from overwhelming his opponents with speed and accuracy (also finished very strong. He still has considerable speed but the workrate he has to keep up to perform like he used to prob isn't possible.) Shane is an offensive first fighter and with age I don't think he would hang in their with the current crop at 147. Marquez has been able to stay competitive largely because he is a very intelligent counter puncher. Shane is a beast and atg but without his peak speed, timing(obviously has diminished over the years), ability to use fast foot work and body movement to land his power shots I dont see him coming back as a forceComment
