Exactly. HBO isn't going to be interesting in going head to head against Mayweather. That would only minimise profits. Besides that, Cotto will be fighting hard to have the fight held at The Garden.

its a great fight. but the fake injury and fighting on cinco de mayo weekend is pure garbage. HBO,and Arum are behind this crap. $ money$ is fighting that weekend. all boxing roads lead to floyd mayweather. and his high rollers fanbase and corperate america will see to it.

Canelo is fighting on CDM weekend believe that. Showtime can go head to head if they want but, Mexico is rock'n with Canelo NOT Floyd. The only chance Floyd has is to fight Danny Garcia b/c Mexicans hate him so much the would want to see him lose. But casual boxing fans don't know Garcia. The other option is for Floyd to fight Cotto???
