Maidana. Is not one of them. All he did was expose Floyd's weakness. Devon out boxed him easy. Floyd's limited output doesn't work on someone like maidana. Devon threw combos and turned maidana. Floyd pot shots and rolls he rarely throws combos. B hop and pacman are similar that nobody ever gets the better of them in exchanges in close. But Floyd cannot exchange fire, he will get knocked out going toe to toe. It's why he never goes toe to toe. The few times he throws combos he gets hit.

Maidana is a basic slugger who just toned down his wild slow shots in the rematch, he can't box off the Back foot
like PAC, Floyd or b hop

I'd say Pacquiao, Mayweather, Hopkins, Bradley, Ward, Crawford.

Maidana (believe it or not but its true)
in their respective primes mayweather and hopkins were two of the most well rounded fighters in the history of the sport imo, but that was then and this is now. same thing applies to pacquiao on a smaller scale, he wasnt as well rounded to begin with but hasnt lost quite as much either.

maidana is one of the most one dimensional fighters in the sport.

except he isnt. thurman is one dimensional too for sure, but not as much as maidana.

some truly multi dimensional fighters are..

lamont peterson - not great at anything, but good at everything. can fight inside or outside, box or brawl, go forwards or backwards and has a complete arsenal of punches and offensive moves as well as defensive maneuvers.

andre ward - easiest one out there, like peterson except he is great at a lot of those things. scary dude.

miguel cotto - great amateur background that he once used to force guys into fights, later became more of a boxer and is now back to a more seasoned version of his most accomplished self. none the less he too can fight in either direction, at any distance, box or brawl, lead or counter. has been both outboxed and outfought, but never easily.

tim bradley - has the ability to fight in a number of various styles, unforunately for him he doesnt always choose the right one though.

juan manuel marquez - has lost some wrinkles to his game with age but i think he still deserves a mention, not one of the most well rounded guys at this stage of his career though.

Mayweather easily, watching all his fights which are all available on youtube clearly shows that he never fought any fighter the same. He stuck to his philosophy of hit and not get hit but he never approaches all his opponents the same. People just don't understand...

Ward as well, this guy inside game is superior in my opinion, to Mayweather's. No one will ever beat Ward in my opinion based upon his IQ and skills and his defensive responsiveness. It's interesting how these so called fans here love to bash him and constantly try to remove him off the P4P list to give guys that lost to him or KTFO6, a higher position.

Bradley as well, he could beat anyone as long as he don't fight ****** due to him believing he won't get it on the cards regardless(which has merit).

Hopkins, he's still here and recently unified world championships at 49, that is all.

JMM his supreme intellect makes him one of the most adaptive guys in the sport.

Danny Garcia, he does everything good enough where he doesn't have a clear weakness.

Crawford.. All his fights shows this, reminds me of Mayweather back in the day with switching of stance positions.

Kell Brook... I see something, not sure but he is undefeated for a reason

Shawn Porter.. He's like Timothy Bradley just hit harder and more loyal to what his trainer(who's his father) tells him whom instructions in Porter's last bout was detrimental to Porter's championship and now dwindled momentum. Porter can fight backwards, have an excellent jab and also can switch to attack mode instantly with a barrage of heavy leveraged shots.

Honorable Mentions (they are not at the guys above level yet)

Maidana.. although got beat at his own game and then couldn't compete at the chess level, is still multi-dimensional when it comes to his feints and jabs to set up his power punches. He just doesn't have a plan C, D, E, F, Etc.

Canelo Alvarez.. Can throw combinations, move on the back foot, use philly shell defense on the ropes( not always successful). Just lacking knowledge for his big brain due to a crap coach.

                      Not multidimensional..

People that have to rematch people 3-4 times... i.e Corrales vs Castillo.
