Oh, wow. I'm glad a guy who has gone 1-2 in his last three fights is going to move up to fight people. Big news. Seriously, this dude is such a one dimensional hype job. I started disliking him when he called out Marquez and wanted jmm to move down to fight him. Uhhh why?

Normalwise I don't say thing like that, but he needs to sign with Haymon. Haymon has the good fighters at 147, not HBO: HBO has just a few. Pac, Bradley (already fought with Ruslan), JMM (he'll retire soon). And a Pac-Provodnikov fight is unlikely now...
On the other hand Haymon and Showtime/NBC has: Maidana, Thurman, Porter, Guerrero, Khan, May, Alexander, Danny Garcia (if he moves up), Matthysse(if he moves up). So the other stable is waymore deeper in that weight, Provo needs to switch.

Haymon fighters would most likely demand $4 million to fight Provo. Not going to happen. They don't even fight each other, let alone fight one from TR. They're the biggest jokes in boxing today.

No kidding. All Ruslan said was "For title or not, I just want to fight the best." - typical boxing fan reaction, "sit down Ruslan, you bum". What a ******ed fan base this sport has.

The only top 10 welterweight Provodnikov would have a chance against is Maidana. That's a 50-50 fight. Everyone else beats him easy.

You're fooling yourself if you say it's going to be easy. He's no Salka, bro. He's got a fantastic chin and can go 12 brutal rounds. It's not going to be easy. Easy UD, but not a walk in the park easy.

He's a very limited, predictable C level guy. He's tough and can take a punch, but his power is overrated and he has no skill.

Pac, Floyd, Thurman, Bradley, Brook, Porter, Khan, Alexander, Marquez...these guys can all box. He'd have no chance against them imo.

Maidana would go toe-to-toe with him. I think Provodnikov can take a better punch than him, but Maidana hits harder, so it's en evenly matched fight.
