I think HBO didn't want to allow Herschman to go over the budget with either a canelo or a cotto fight. Its probably best to go right to that fight. When you were faced with the prospect of cotto/lee or Canelo/clottey-why waste the money on garbage like that.
Save the money and promote the hell out of the fight when they have it in June.Comment

I thought Canelo would have had more of an advantage if he stood sharp against Clottey, it's that close of a match up. Cotto has a very good chance of pulling this off.Comment

i dont care about the names, but the title that floyd got from cotto at 154 did he ever vacated?? that was the real title wba just changed the name ... it was the wba-wbc real titles at stake... you can play with the names all you want but at the end of the day you know which titles are real...Comment

Scared already?? Cotto may be the "A" side in this fight but not because of PPV sales....let not forget Canelo sold more PPV with Angulo than Cotto did with MARAVILLA F**ing Martinez, so 30 mill or even 20 would be too much and a way out of the fight. he refuse to fight Canelo at least 3 other times, so no big deal.Comment
