The fight defintely wont happen in May with Canelo numbers being revealed and Cotto's last ppv flopping, coupled with Lara the fight doesn't sell

I would rather not see him in a lose lose situation the way he was if he fought Joshua Clottey.

He wins, he was suppose to win.
And even if he wins he isn't going to look good against Clottey, because no one can look good against him.

I'd rather him get the rest of the year off, and fully prepare himself for what is expected to be a tough fight against Cotto.
