Respect Hopkins for when he called Haye out. This was a time where Haye was known as the best heavyweight other than the Klitschko's and when he was knocking everybody out. Not the version with the hurt toe who has little credibility nowadays.

I think it worked out for everyone. Haye would have crushed him immediately.

You have to love the attitude of B-Hop, he'll fight just about anyone, regardless of age.

Saying that, Haye would have full on flattened him.

Haye would've been all wrong for Hopkins if he was going to try a heavyweight move. He would've matched up much better with somebody like Chagaev and that wouldn't have been a guaranteed belt by any stretch either.

I dont think Hopkins gets passed Kovalev but if he does and for sure he never going to get passed Haye, the king of the jungle will put hopkins to sleep.

No chance that Bhop beats Haye. Too quick and powerful.

Haye would have smashed Hopkins. All he would is one good shot. A 217 pound David Haye would have destroyed old man Hopkins. Dude is crazy. Much props doe. And to think posters yesterday was crying about Floyd defending his belts at 154 vs GGG who was wiling to meet him there. It's hilarious to me.

BHop would have definitely fought Haye if he says he would have, Hop is no Floyd Coward Duckballs Maynever...... but that would have been the ass kicking of the millennium. No interest in seeing Hopkins in a coma.

Bhop is the last credible active world champion...when he leaves we will miss him..is is a gate keeper of old skool boxing values....to be the best u have to beat the best and the fact he is willing to fight anyone and not duck and dive says so much about the man
