Former WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (49-3-1, 35 KOs), who recently lost his title to challenger Grigory Drozd (39-1, 27 KOs) with a one-sided unanimous decision, has issued an explanation for his sub-par performance last Saturday night to the Przegląd Sportowy.

“When your mind isn’t right and straight then your entire setup is upset”, said Wlodarczyk. “I had thought that everything had been almost right, that it had been working just fine. I hope Diablo gets his shot and win back his title. If that happens you better believe Roy Jones Jr. will be ringside. But regardless of whoever wins RJ should be next on deck.

RJJ is my dude and all but he needs to fight a serious live body, someone like BJ Flores who is hungry and will come at him to win. If that fight happens and Jones actually wins then yes definitely he would be ready for one of the true CW champs. Fight probably won't happen since Jones used to promote for BJ years ago.
