Many boxers have weak chins and other disadvantages. Going into Vasquez vs Bey, I dont remember anyone picking Bey to win. Everyone said that Vasquez would outclass and embarass him yet Bey won a fight that could have gone either way. Neither did anything to win the fight. A disadvantage doesn't mean anything if you fight in a way to highlight your advantages.

Bey is a good enough boxer to do so.

Shafikov is not awkward in the same way as Vazquez, but he is a skilled and tricky fighter - furthermore he's far more likely to hurt his opponent than Vazquez. If you imagine that Shafikov is some walk-through for Bey, you probably need to watch a little more of him.
