No it just means ya was all like Sergio gonna knock him out and then when he got blasted, ya was all like oh Sergio is shot. Just like how now ya saying Hopkins is gonna school Kovalev and then when Hopkins gets killed, ya gonna say he's old. Yeah, he's old but ya saying one thing and then say some other bs after.

Excuse me: What Martinez? There were no Martinez into that fight -- just a former fighter's zombie.

I felt Cotto was going to have the speed advantage in the Sergio fight and that size was not necessarily the end all be all. In addition, Sergio's lack of a good uppercut was an issue. So it's a little different in this fight because GGG still has prime reflexes. He will be responding to what Cotto is doing much differently than Martinez could and the variety in his punches is much different.

I'll be re-thinking it all after GGG's next fight. Rubio is one of the better inside fighters in the division so should get to see what GGG does when someone gets in the wheelhouse. That could give some clues as to where Cotto could possibly go in that fight.

Again, that doesn't mean he wasn't well past his best days. Oscar was a 4-1 favorite to beat Pacquiao but we clearly witnessed a shell of the former Oscsr in the ring. Likewise we saw a shell of Martinez.

For the record I never said Hopkins is going to school Kovalev I'm terrified for Hopkins. Kovalev is the favorite and I've seen more people predict Hopkins losing by KO than I've ever seen before.

Cotto will be too busy retreating to think about stopping GGG.

With Cotto as lineal middleweight champ, boxing may have reached its absurdity peak...
... But I still wait for Floyd to surpass this funny situation...

Idk why anyone thought Oscar at 147 would do anything. And IMO Cotto would beat any version of Martinez. And that's good that you're scared for Hopkins, he's gonna get hurt bro. No bs. I've seen plenty of ppl saying he's gonna win though.
