He still trains in his dad's shed (as he has done for 25 years), nothing fancy and in the middle of nowhere.
He does very little sparring at all. The reason he does hardly any sparring is because of his vulnerability to injure his hands/wrists/arms, but also because he simply does not need it! He has so much natural ability that he doesn't need to spar, and that is a complete rariety for a fighter at the level he performs. He just relies on natural ability.
For training he warms up with shadow boxing then works on floor-to-ceiling bag and focus pads, always working on speed and accuracy. That's his main workout - floor-to-ceiling bag and focus pads. Then he might do some speedball, some skipping, he limits heavybag work to once or twice a week due to fragile hands. No weight-training, just bodyweight exercises. Also takes some medicine ball hits to the body. Ofcourse, he runs in the mornings too (in the valley's, in the middle of nowhere).
