It's unfortunate that his left-shoulder was injured, but he didn't even look that good before his shoulder was injured. His trainer wasn't even with him. He's been given so many opportunities to redeem himself, and he never does, always disappointing.

Dawson might have won by a point or two but what a poor sport cry baby. Damn, learn to take a loss like a man. You don't get credit for punches you might have landed if you didn't hurt your shoulder. There is no effort to run you out of boxing. Two judges just thought you lost a close fight.

I had no problems with the decision. Perhaps people should write him off when he's losing to opponents like Karpency.

Well like I said, I didn't think he lost, but even so, Karpency was no bum in the fight, and Dawson did get an injury keeping him from using one arm. So I won't write him off just yet. If he stays healthy through the bout and does this flat a performance next fight... then yeah I'd say he's through.

Dawson isn't that good anymore, but Karpency is no bum.

And extra credit to him for working full time and being a fighter, and pulling off the upset against big odds.
