nelo did 375k coming off a loss on a non-mexican date vs an opponent that was coming off a loss either on a non title fight, add all those factors on a floyd fight and i guarantee it wont be pretty ...
dont you forget that there was more canelo fans than floyd fans at the mgm for that fight... many canelo fans will come back for the cotto fight and after that...

Honestly, I can't remember the last time Floyd was the crowd favorite in a fight. That's what most here fail to realize. Floyd's biggest, and most loyal "fanbase" are the haters paying to see him lose. And Canelo was the last legitimate hope. Canelo's drawing power has fallen offbbecause he's no longer seen as a legit threat to Floyd. Just like Manny's numbers started to decline aftet the 3rd JMM fight. I guarantee you that the Algeri fight does better than ecpected because Floyd has shown enough slippage that Manny once again is seen as a threat. Why the hell do you think the Pacquiao camp has been doing so much chirp'n about Floyd? That's what drives his sales. Whether you're paying to see Floyd win or lose, you're still paying to see Floyd. After all these years y'all still don't undetstand that.

I comprehend just fine. You just inturpret saying Canelo isn't very good ad hate. When its nothing but an educated opinion based on what he's shown.

If someone said that to an african american it's racism but that comment isn't?Why is it conditional?
Naw its not racism; if its cool for Canelo to think he should take precedent because its a mexican day, then its cool for me to think that an American should take precedent in this country.

If he has decided that that day belongs to mexicans, and a mexican should headline on it, whats wrong with thinking that this country is the USA and a US citizen should headline here?

but floyd beating an old shot genaro is better than beating lara or trout??
The old shot champ who never lost at the weightclass they fought in okay?

And in Tyson's teens he was beating top grade, Mayweather too. And that win was way better than both the Trout and Lara "wins" because you could argue Canelo lost both, not with Floyd, there was no room for error there

It's like this. He may never be a Floyd like star, but he's still the next biggest thing for the foreseeable future. Despite what these weenies say.
I don't like the way Gingers talking, like hes a boss and has already accomplished so much. If not for that, I would still be a fan of the guy. He tried to talk down on Lara and arguably lost the fight and ran like hell from the thought of a rematch, he says he wants to be great, but when asked if he would even desire a Mayweather rematch, he shrugs it off like he proved something in the first match.

Mayweathers time is ending, but you got Guys like Broner and Danny G that I'd still like to see, Canelo lost me as a fan because he's an entitled d1ck, and he's not great enough that I'd pay to see him lose.

Tyson was beating which top guys in his teens? He won the Hw title at 20, prior to, he didn't beat any top guys. He was flooring cans. The KO's stopped coming so fast when he DID step-up, outside if the Spinks destruction, of course.

Pop quiz, how many elite HW's did Tyson fight, let alone beat?

I'm sorry you feel that way about Canelo, a 24-year old who is taking the unfriendly fights against guys that were dead locks to beat him like Mayweather, Trout, and Lara. And soon Cotto. I'm sorry you can't appreciate a guy daring to be great.

When DLH was the face of boxing Floyd and Manny beat him to gain their status. What fighter has Canelo beat to earn the status as the face of boxing? He got schooled by Mayweather, and his two best wins (Trout and Lara)are very questionable. Now if he can beat Cotto and Chavez he may be able grab a larger fan base.

That's absolutely false!! Canelo hasn't even done more the Broner at 24. broner is a 3 x title holder... Mayweather probably had a few championships at different weight classes as well.
