This is what I enjoy about Rigo too... he fights so clean... His style is a great example of pure effective boxing, without needing to resort to any petty cheap tricks in order to be supremely dominant... Guys don't want to engage Rigo because he packs so much power... Guys are at a loss when they fight him because they feel they can't do anything... if they try to bully him or "fight" him, they get countered by hard shots... So the "action" lessens and the audience feels like nothing is happening...even if the offense of a really good fighter is brilliantly neutralized by a great fighter.

P4P, I think Rigo has more power than Floyd... and that rushing tactic that Maidana used in the first fight... would not work with Rigo.

Lomachenko is another fighter that fights extremely clean.

yes he was very outgoing in this interview. he also showed more than one emotion on his face which was nice.

I think Santa Cruz presents a lot more problems for Rigondeaux than Donaire would even if Donaire is a much better fighter overall.

Santa Cruz's aggressive style will be better served against Rigondeaux than Donaire's boxer puncher style. I am almost certain.

Or is Rigondeaux invincible now in the eyes of most people? Have we even seen him really tested yet? Donaire was a good fighter but that fight was going all his way, what happens if he gets put in an iffy spot what moves does he have then?

Leo's sloppy agressive style will leave him open for counters all night long.

If they fight LSC's workrate will drop dramatically. Rigo packs a punch for his weight class as well

Wlad has a high ko percentage too and he's boring as ****

The kos are nice but everything up to that point with Rigo is like watching the 6th rd of Lara canelo.

            Awful

He will get hit no doubt, and if getting hit deters him he has no hope.

Sometimes sloppy and aggressive works against polish as long as the sloppy guy has the proper determination.

Santa Cruz could certainly lose and would be the deserved dog but I haven't seen Rigondeaux fight anyone like Santa Cruz to be making the statements you are making~

Either way rigo is one of the top fighters in the sport. LSC and Mares should be jumping at the opportunity to fight a boxing legend. But somehow they get a pass for blatantly ducking one of the guys in the sport? Guess no one should be surprised since ODLH made millions doing the same exact thing.
So ...Rigo is a boxing legend ? Amateurs are one thing but he outboxes Donaire who was the man in his division , beats Mtagwa in a boring fight and literally cheap shots his last opponent for the k.o . IMHO his resume still needs work before u go label the dude a legend .

you would think Golovkin would of been able to sympathize with Rigo's situation since none of the MW champs want to face Golovkin

That said, Rigo is entertaining. Highly skilled and packs a punch.

Rigo never fought Mtagwa, you meant Agbeko. The man is a Legend nobody from 118 to 130 will beat him.
