I've haven't been impressed with Hopkins as much as other people. His best wins came against smaller fighters who weren't real Middleweights. He lost to JT twice, and he refused to take random-blood testing against Pascal. He still hasn't been tested for a fight btw.
I'm sure Kovalev would have demanded random-blood testing if he thought B-Hop would have accepted and not ducked the fight...
Come on man, respect to hopkins is due. Especially him taking this fight.
Froch has surpassed Calzaghe lol? You're crazy... Andre Ward is lucky Calzaghe isn't around still... We'll leave it at that...
Why would you bring up Mayweather? Nobody even mentioned Mayweather js... Calzaghe and Mayweather are pretty similar, but Calzaghe never had a Pacquiao-type fighter in the same division and just blatantly do everything to make it more difficult to make the fight... Calzaghe had Jeff Lacy whom everyone said he was ducking and then Kessler... Roy Jones and HOpkins were not in the same division as Calazaghe during their primes... Pacquiao has been in the same division as Mayweather for a while now..
Wow. Just wow. Theres a reason why calslappy never moved up weight and "retired" once the big names wanted to fight.

You are a pure f.uck'n idiot. You do realize he moved up two divisions to take the REAL light heavyweight title from Tarver don't you.
BTW, how the f.uck could Hopkins ducked a fight that he sought out?
Crazy how the enormity of the moment is creeping up on Kovalev. Hopkins is business as usual. Kovalev is a tough SOB, but Bhop is a tougher one, and its funny how many haters Bhop has - lol - and the man is 49 years old, and this fight is a toss up - he is 18 - 19 years older than his opponent and the fight is damn near even??? people get so caught up in hating the man that they do not even realize that they can speak on history, they can say hey I saw when he beat such and such at 46 years old - he is 3 years older than that - embrace the Alien win lose or Draw, his career is in its final stages, possibly this fight and one more at 50!!!!! to be undisputed?????? can you say top 20 of all time ........with the hate sprinkled on top...
A toss up to who? Easy work for Kovalev... Easy. Hopkins hasnt beat a game opponent in years.
X is trying his damnedest to hand Father Time his first L. But eventually, FT has to get him, I think. That said, if it doesn't, I really don't see anything in Kovalev's game that is gonna bother Nard all that much. Kovalev's bandwagon jumpers are basically the same dip****s that have GGG rated ahead of Ray Robinson as the all-time P4P King. But Kovalev can't carry GGG's jock when it comes to skill level. Not only that. In his last two fights he's been dropped due to bad balance. And was noticeably uncomfortable with the rough stuff in the Agnew fight. I'm sure Nard is well aware of all of this, which is why he wanted the fight. Unless Nard has a considerable drop off. I think he's gonna skool this boy and make him look silly.
I suggest you rewatch the murat fight and see how much Hopkins has slipped.
Dude has no chance.

Great post man. Hopkins has had his share of shady moments for sure but the man is a living legend, and any real boxing fan should feel compelled to respect him. He has dished out so many lessons in the ring that it is ridiculous given his age compared to his opposition.
