I used to see a lot of potential in both Omar and Julio Jr but as time has passed I saw that same potential simply get washed away by their own actions. I've noticed that they both tend to put the blame on their father when things don't go their way, instead of taking a look at themselves to see what they are truly doing wrong.
Chavez Sr. on Omar, "He’s crazy, he’s absolutely wrong" - as Omar blames him for loss

Rich kids aren't meant to fight. Period.
How can you be hungry to fight when you have the world at your fingertips as a teenager?
They may want to prove themselves as their own men, but what is the motivation? They can fall back on their wealth at any time the going gets tough.Comment

Tell that to Barrera. The Klitschko's weren't exactly poor either.Rich kids aren't meant to fight. Period.

Eubank Jr and Beibut Shumenov.
I don't think it has much to do with hunger, I just think wealthier kids are less likely to find themselves in a boxing gym with the rougher element of society.
Professional rugby is a very rough sport, multiple head hits and guaranteed surgery, and it's full of wealthy kids from privileged backgrounds who excel, there's no lack of drive.
Strange as it seems, I just don't think these Chavez kids respect their father. Their mother probably wore the trousers in their household.Last edited by Weebler I; 10-03-2014, 08:05 AM.Comment
