Im not asking him to have a David Haye body but Chagaev needs to improve his physique and fitness, otherwise he is getting put to sleep by Ortiz. Chagaev was so out of shape in the Oquendo fight he barely got over the line in the fight and was huffing and puffing with that tyre around his waistline.

Ortiz will beat the faded Chagaev.

Then, we may see Wladimir Klitschko vs. Luis Ortiz, which is an interesting heavyweight title fight.

Chagaev was never really in great shape but in the last years hes gained even more weight. Dude should not weight more than 220 pounds. Ortiz will murder that fat pig.

Ortiz has beaten an old monte barrett, a blown up CW in kayode & a handful of below average journeymen. He really hasn't earned anything but a good ranking via regional belts. chagaev also never deserved to be in a top ranked position either but regional belts & politics got him there. he did at least beat oquendo. chagaev has the better credentials & resume but he hasn't been in the best of shape the last few years. he does have a good chin & can go 12 rounds but will that be enough? Ortiz is no spring chicken but he appears to have good skills. I won't say he has big power as he hasn't exactly smashed anyone close to having a good HW chin. Ortiz looks much fresher then chagaev but this is a step up in competition at the world level so we will see what he really has. maybe he folds on the big stage, maybe chagaev shows up in good shape & turns back the clock. the betting man will most likely put it on Ortiz but I won't count chagaev out yet. I always thought he was overrated & a protected fighter but this looks like his best opponent since povetkin.
