  • Comments Thread For: Nicholas Walters: I Will KO Donaire in Five or Six Rounds!

Jamaican Nicholas Walters will attempt to continue writing his name in the boxing history books on October 18th, not only in his country but worldwide. “I am very hungry and I am confident I will defeat Nonito Donaire, I believe I will knock him out in 5 or 6 rounds”.

Walters, the 'regular' World Boxing Association featherweight world champion will fight the undisputed champion, Donaire, at the StubHub Center in Carson. “He says I have not fought anybody and that he has knocked out more opponents than I have, and I say, sure but none of them at 126 lbs.”

There will be odds the week of the fight. I'm sure it will open at Donaire around -175.

Donaire has a great chin, i dont recall him ever being knocked down. So I dont understand why people are predicting him to get kayoed. You have to be realistic despite Donaire not looking good in recent years.

People think Walters will KO him Based on Walters KOing an old midget?

I think people will be surprised to see the difference in speed. Donaire is still faster than Walters and its unclear whether Walters has more power than Donaire even at this weight.

Again, what you WANT to happen, is different from reality.

I want Walters to win, but I can't shake the feeling that Donaire is going to eventually catch him and knock him out. I wouldn't bet **** on this one.
