Barker Hangar, Santa Monica, California - In an IBF middleweight final eliminator, former WBO king Hassan N'Dam (31-1, 18KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Curtis Stevens (27-5, 20KOs). The scores were 116-111, 116-111, 119-108. Stevens started well but couldn't overcome the jab and movement of N'Dam, who also scored a knockout in the eight round. N'Dam is now in line to face the winner of next week's fight between IBF champion Sam Soliman and challenger Jermain Taylor.

To me, it didnt look like Stevens came to fight. Once again he was waiting on his hook and fell short, literally.

You're witnessing history fellas, Stevens is turning into a journeyman right before your eyes. He's actually on a full steam path to tomato can. Embrace this.

Styles make fights, and Stevens couldn't deal with N'Dam's.

Stevens' arms looked tight. He kept shaking them out especially early on in the fight. N'dam boxed and moved, exactly what you do against guys like Stevens.

He always does that thing with his arms. And that weird thing where he goes up on the toes of one foot also... who knows - guess it's his signature 'thing' or something.

As NDNJ said before the fight 'if he's the bull, I'll be the matador'. Stevens is getting a lotta flack for this one and was never really a top class fighter anyway, but I think N'Dam has been somewhat overlooked due to his lack of US exposure and the loss to Quillin.

Hassan 'The Man' N'Jikam N'Dam is a quality fighter, the closest thing there is to a MW Lara (though I'll admit to not being particularly enamored of the style).

Not surprised at all, N'dam can actually box. If you can't hurt the guy you have a tough night on your hands. Quillin was able to several times which is why he won the fight, when he couldn't he was getting outboxed. Good win for N'dam
