    Top 5 knockouts since 2000

This century, the 5 best most significant knockouts in boxing are as follows

    1. Marquez icing manny
not only was it a knockout, but it was a literal "put to sleep" which hardly ever happens in a big fight, especially in one with 2 great warriors like manny and Marquez..

    2. Tarver blasts Roy
This was unthinkable when it happened,, would be number one but Roy got to his feet and wasn't napping

    3. Manny beheads hatton
I thought manny would win due to his handspeed, carve up hatton like he did Diaz and oscar.. I would never think that hatton would go in and get beheaded by manny..

    4. Serg puts out Paul Williams
The dude was knocked out with his eyes open, face down ass up... 'Nough said

    5 froch stopping groves
Classic rematch between the young lion and the aging warrior,, in front of a huge crowd in a historic stadium, the youngster had success early but froch showed him who was daddy

Nonito's KO of Fernando Montiel was better than the Froch KO.

Highlight reel worthy, but not historically memorable..

Froch-groves 2 was literally one of the biggest fights in the history of the uk

good list, in terms of significance and a systematic breakdown of a fighter, bhop vs tito but not so much so the ko itself

In the U.K yes, but not for U.S and Global market. Donaire vs Montiel is the main event in the lower division at that time, so donaire K.O still rank higher.

I highly doubt that... I'm willing it bet that froch-groves 2 was higher rated in hbo than donaire-montel... Well maybe not since it was the afternoon start time stateside,,,
IMO the froch-groves fight was much bigger, especially considering it was a rematch

Maybe I didn't explain my criteria like I should have in my opening post... But yes, donaire stopping montiel was one if the greatest knockouts in recent memory,,
The image of montiel on the canvas with his hands up in the air, looking like he is trying to get up and having a seizure at the same time is something I will never forget

Great call that was a brutal ko, and basically made peter' career, and was def his career defining moment for the Nigerian nightmare..
