Comments Thread For: Mayweather Willing To Return To Help Russian Fighters

WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) has enjoyed his time in Moscow. The boxer stopped off at Moscow on Wednesday and worked with some of the amateurs at a local gym, and also showed off some moves of his own. Mayweather stopped off to Moscow as part of European tour.

Mayweather made a big impression at the "Boxing Academy" facility in Luzhniki Stadium, and wants to return to the region in the future to help some of the pros coming up in the ranks. Mayweather is growing his own promotional company, Mayweather Promotions.

Russian fighters to Floyd: Can you teach us to fight a guy with this style?

Floyd: It's easy, you use the health come first technique. Don't be like Ali.

I never liked that fowl-mouth mentality of Floyd either. I will watch those PPV until I will be one of the first to see him lose live! No matter what it cost me!

But he sells more ppv's as that character, he's admitted that, that persona sells more than just Pretty Boy Floyd. He admits it that its all an act and now we even Know that 24/7 and shows like it is an act to sell ppv's. But I guess people want to believe it, and it works you cant deny it. And if it furthers boxings reach and popularity then its good for the sport. People even if told its an act, still want a bad guy, it sells and you cant deny it cause when theres a boxing match and the people act nice to each other, people call for some excitement for someone to push someone or something.
