That fight is the epitome of a "cherry pick". But instead they want to justify it saying "Algieri is tall doe". Come on, man, this damn hypocrisy needs to stop. Manny's last three opponents are arguably the weakest punchers around; Bradley (12 KO's), Rios (who's only famous for taking punishment) and Algieri (8 KO's). But these same people clown on Floyd taking on a guy with an 81% KO ratio who outweighed him by 15-20 pounds twice in one year. I just can't take Floyd's critics seriously.

But Floyd only 37 year old doe.

I've lost most of my interest in this one. Floyd has been ducking manny for so long now that it's just turned into a long running joke, and if it does by some miracle happen you know there's gonna be a **** tonne of stipulations like forcing manny to wear pillows etc just to take that bit more sheen of the fight. Meh ... if it happens great, but if not so be it.

          Wheeeeewwwwwwwwwwwyou,,,stinky !

This fight NEEDS to happen NEXT !!

Pac don't need a stay busy fight while waiting for duckweather to make up his mind.

We all know Jr has been fighting the class of bum of the month fighters and ducked the elites plus has had a good run these past few years winning over the bum class due to lack of elites as they were beaten to a pulp by PAC !

One Elite remains and thats PAC.

They can hash out the money, but they need to DROP the Demands like gloves etc............ and end this endless debate.

IF the fight don't happen, I will just go ahead and DECLARE PAC one of the All time greats that TOOK ON ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL COMERS !!!!!

you won't be able to say that about May Jr.

Yall watch and see, LEGACY will be the MAIN talked about subject after both Pac and JR are gone.

But then again he could fight Manny in China TAX FREE, and probably bank $100M, TAX FREE, or he could do it in Vegas and pay $40M back in taxes, netting $60M.... Yeah it would suck for Floyd to swallow his pride, ego and Arum-grudge and fight in China TAX FREE, clown.... I know it's tough for these numbers to make sense when you're illiterate.
Having US citizenship would mean he has to pay taxes regardless. And didn't Arum say the Rios fight numbers were so low because the fight was in china? That would mean there is no reason to fight outside the country

IF the fight is signed and at the time of wrapping hands Jr comes up with a glove change or the fight is OFF , I hope its OFF and let all HELL come down on JR for the **** he pulls.

Schaefer was a cancer that relegated fighters to solely in-house affairs on one network (having been banned by HBO).

Notice how as soon as he got the boot, Canelo is back with HBO and GB/TR are doing co-promotions and openly discussing the potential for Pac/Garcia or Pac/Khan.

                    But Arum's the devil doe
Bradley was never promoted by Golden Boy or Richard Schaefer. Those guys having to leave their promoters to fight Manny Pacquiao had nothing to do with Richard Schaefer. It was just Bob Arum being Bob Arum. Bob Arum has focused most of his hatred at Schaefer ever since the first failed negotiations for a Pacquiao Mayweather fight back in 09. I'm sure your whole "Schaefer was a cancer" statement is a direct quote from one of Arum's many public statements made against Schaefer.

Not like all of the crap Arum talks means that they can't make the fight happen. But if trash talking about the promoter he was supposed to be trying to make a deal with is any indication of how he approached their dealings in private then its safe to assume that it was Bob Arum that was the tumor in the cancerous state of doing business in boxing at the time. If it was all Schaefer's fault why did Bradley have to leave his promoter to get a fight with Pacquiao?

De la Hoya is making peace with Arum only because Arum is allowing it. And Arum is only allowing it because he hates Schaefer and he knows how this makes Schaefer look and that he'll have people like you come around and say that this proves that the problems were always Schaefer's fault and not his own. Is it a coincidence that Richard Schaefer and Floyd Mayweather are friends and that Mayweather and De la Hoya dislike each other and some how Bob Arum is now buddies with De la Hoya? Bob Arum has had some pretty bad things to say about De la Hoya over the years too. All of the sudden him and De la Hoya are friends again now that Schaefer is gone. Interesting. After all, the failed Mayweather Pacquiao negotiations is where this whole feud started from.

Regarding Pacquiao saying that his opponents have to leave their promoter's to fight him; the actions of his promoter that I have never heard him object to, speak louder than any words he would ever speak. Multiple fighters have had to leave their promoters to fight Pacquiao and Golden Boy fighters aren't the only ones. Interesting.

As far as HBO goes, it looks like you might be correct. They either have a problem with Schaefer or Al Haymon. It could be that they had a problem with the working relationship between Golden Boy and Haymon at the time. But HBO is just one network and just because the relationship went sour with them doesn't mean that Schaefer is a cancer to boxing. I think he is just a convenient scape goat.

First of all, Barrera and Morales are miles better than 99% of Floyds wins. Bradley is better than Canelo, both in P4P and resume. Pacquaio has faced Marquez, someone he knowingly struggles with, multiple times and both won and lost. He faced Cotto before he started reaching journeyman status. He retired Oscar, and faced Hatton and retired him at his best and most relevant weight (140).

Pretty much everyone both Floyd and Pacquaio have faced minus Marquez, Pacquaio has done a much better job at beating them. This goes for Mosley, Oscar, Cotto and Hatton.

You'd have to be ******ed to think Mayweather has a better resume than Pacquaio at this point, honestly. I guess unless you think his 0 still matters (Castilo took that, btw).
