Only one. The one who prioritized "self preservation" above everything. Only a coward would talk about and be worried about his health. It revealed he didn't trust his defense, his speed, or his ability to take punches. So with the corruption and protection of Haymon and the establishment, Floyd rigged his phony career to never lose and he fooled a lot fools who don't yet realize he was just a counterfeit phony pretender posing as a great.Comment

I couldn't imagine Ali saying he is a rich coward

No champion Pre Floyd would even come close to even being accused of cowardice. Floyd changed the sport and made cowardice a business method. He should teach it at Harvard, how to maximize cowardice into millions. PF was when boxing was real, everything changed after Phloyd and his cowardly career of swindling the public out of hundreds of millions.Comment

Post Hatton Floyd just had too much control, and the blatant cherrypicking made Mayweather era boxing tolerable to watch at best, because you had a guy willing to waste his talent taking on lessor fighters who couldn't beat him on their worst night, and the guys who could at least break even were already shopworn.

I feel like Floyd’s “health comes first” line gets used to deflect more than it actually reassures. He’s made smart moves before, but in his business and media setup, there’s always been a tension between risk and reward. I recently read some Mobe reviews for their fitness-training app, and a few people mentioned how disciplined boxing-style routines helped them stay consistent. Seems like even pros could use a structured program to help balance ambition and longevity.Last edited by ired; 11-24-2025, 06:17 AM.Comment
