You are also not totally clueless about the sports history so I'm sure you are aware of the circumstances leading to ali taking both fights. But because its a Floyd statement you pretend otherwise.

What does Ali fighting Holmes and Berbick towards the end of his career have to do with Floyd relating that to him fighting Pacquiao?

During the interview where Floyd made that statement, the interviewer Bob Costas even had to ask Floyd...."Are you implying that there is something to fear from fighting Pacquiao?"
