Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya is back in the swing of things with HBO. The network severed their ties with Golden Boy in the first quarter of 2013. De La Hoya has been able to rebuild the relationship in the wake of Richard Schaefer's June departure from his CEO position at Golden Boy.

Now that Golden Boy has regained their footing on the network, De La Hoya has been discussing several potential fights that he would like to do in 2015 with boxers who exclusively fight on HBO.

Well you have to look at it from the networks point of view. They spend a few yrs investing and building up a fighter so of course they want a return on their investment. Look what happened with Stevenson. HBO built him up only for Showtime to come in after HBO did all the work. I fully understand the exclusivity aspect.
