    Beterbiev

Been looking more into this guy's amateur background and it's more impressive than I initially thought.

He's got wins over Usyk, Mekhontsev, Kovalev, Gvozdyk, Atoev etc. Not many current fighters have a better amateur resume than that.

Here are a couple his amateur fights against Usyk and Sillakh. I couldn't any footage of him beating Usyk, but apparently it was back in 2007.

Can't wait to see him fight some top names as a pro, I have a feeling he's going to be a star.

he is big for the weight, i think he will be looking for big fights at light heavy as soon as possible, and when stevenson retires soon, he will fight for that vacant belt

Yeah he's very big for 175.

Beterbiev and Mekhontsev will do serious damage as pros. I'd love to see Ward move up and fight one of them (or Kovalev) in the future if they stick around at 175.

Now that you mention it ward would be good for beterbiev should he decide to move up. I would like to see beterbiev notch up some more good wins then go against kovalev one day.

          Beterbiev-Kovalev would be a war.

He should fight Campillo next. He'd have a strong claim as the hardest puncher in the division if he stopped him in less time than Kovalev.

guy is a beast ... ward is even more fucked for options now, he'll be pissing himself over going to light heavy even more now ... too many monsters up there. I guess it's back to commentating and occasionally claiming that smaller guys/guys he has already beat are ducking a trip to Oakland.

He beat Kovalev twice I think. Didn't know he beat Usyk.
