Why don't reporters call Floyd out on his quotes during interviews?

Why don't reporters call Floyd out on his ridiculous quotes during interviews?

When he says Khan needs to avenge losses against certain fighters etc.. why aren't reporters saying "well why didn't Maidana have to avenge losses against Alexander or Khan?" - People need to put these questions to him and get him to justify some of the things he says instead of just accepting it and writing it down.

I like Floyd, i'm a fan of him in the ring but I just can't understand how interviewers don't give him a challenging reply for him to deal with. I find it quite frustrating.

Or is it a case of him only doing interview with those who are on his side?

because you can get refused for a future interview, which Floyd has done before

if you're covering a sport, it's generally wise to stay on the good side of its main character

It's just trash talk. Kinda like when a fighter says so and so is a bum. Then fans say "if he's a bum then why fight him". talkin shlt is what fighters do

I've always thought why and this is my conclusion...They always want access to him.Now if a little reporter went on to question Floyd on his hypocrisy, would that reporter get access to Floyd again?

Those reporters get banned from future interview at weigh-ins, press conferences, post fight events etc. Radio Raheem, Steve Kim & many more are boxing writers/journos who have been banned/denied credentials for Mayweather events. As long as you lick Floyd's azz & keep your questions in check...you get the credentials.

This is the major reason why FloydHype.com gets all the inside info/videos from the Floyd camp before/after every Floyd fight. They have their tounges far up Floyd's azz.

he puts lying and bullshit as part of the so called, sweet science.

Yeah i thought that's the case, about wanting to stay on his side.

It's not trash talk, it's just dismissing and avoiding fights. I'm not saying he's avoiding Khan in this instance because i think Floyd will have an easy night against Khan but he is really giving the worst reasons for not taking the fight.

Even if he said he doesn't feel Khan deserves a shot because his last 3 opponents were not great, i'd accept that. But to say "__fighter has ___ problems" is completely dumb when he's fighting fighters who have lost.

I don't know, it's all bull**** really. I've been a fan of him but i'm starting to get tired of his ways now.
