And while Khan is an interesting opponent for anyone because of his hand speed, he has just shown too many times that when the heat gets turned up, he often finds himself in serious trouble. We throw around the life & death phrase a little too often around here -- but he really did go absolute life & death with frigging Julio Diaz. A near retired Julio Diaz at that. That was what, two fights ago for Khan? And he's supposed to beat Manny or Floyd?

But anyway we all know that Paulette has some serious, deep rooted hatred for Manny Pacquiao. Him calling for Khan and/or Thurman to beat him is no surprise. He'd probably give Salka a 50/50 shot to beat Manny. The bigger surprise is that he said that both Khan and Thurman have "better than average" shots at beating Mayweather.
I think people are losing that fact. He did say that Khan and Thurman pose a bigger threat to Mayweather than Pacquiao at this point. Khan should be fighting Thurman this year, but it won't happen. Khan will fight Guererro, and Thurman will fight Alexander. They'll probably both win and get no credit because Guererro and Alexander look average now.

        Ummmm........

The Manny that beat the crap out of Rios, wasn't any different than the Manny who Ko'ed Hatton. He put on a boxing classic against an opponent who outweighed him by at least 15lbs on fight night. I don't see why people overlook that performance. I don't care if Rios is C Level fighter or not. Manny looked amazing! Sometimes you have to stop watching the fight and start watching the fighter in question. In that fight, it was Manny. We all know why Roidquez Ko'ed him and turned down a record pay day of $15million for a 5th fight. Manny is a smart fighter and would KO Khan and possibly stop Thurman who is a wild gun slinger with movement. Manny's straight shots and angles would prevail. Paulie talks too much. Remember before the Porter fight when he said he was as fast as Manny and would beat him? Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

Malignaggi, like Mayweather, has always questioned Pacquiao's incredible run where he scored a series of high profile wins over several top names and most of them came by way of knockout. Pacquiao has not scored a knockout victory since 2009.

I will just respect Paulie's opinion eventhough I completely disagree with him. But Khan needs to defeat Kell Brook first and a couple of fights for Thurman before he can fight Pacquiao or Mayweather. And for the meantime Pacquiao needs to defeat Chris Algieri.

                    • Khan or Thurman for Floyd's next fight, I'm all for it.
                      Make it happen, Floyd. ;-)
