Why do they keep saying Pacquiao? Everyone knows Canelo isn't facing Pacquiao. TR hasn't finished their legal battles (as far as I know) with Chavez Jr., so it'll be Clottey then Cotto.

Too many hurdles that jcc jr is not willing to get by to make it happen. The biggest hurdle being he won't make that damn weight lolComment

Canelo should stay away from Chavez. Even if they fight at 162, people will say Chavez Jr. was weight drained and thats absolutely true. Chavez has a hard time to even make 168. Canelo should Focus on Miguel Cotto. And Chavez Jr. can fight GGG.Comment

What would be the point of that? I don't see that happening. I also don't see Canelo-GGG happening either, not unless GGG gets knocked down in his next fight or something. Not that I don't think Canelo wouldn't take the risk, I just think his handlers aren't that insane. Cotto-Canelo...and then what else?Comment

I'm thinking more like 164. Chavez is a BIG dude, he's can't get to 160 or 162. Hell, 164 might even be a struggleComment

I think this fight is more likely to happen than Canelo-Cotto. Partly because of the following: Chavez won't agree to any fight extensions with Arum. Chavez has problems making weight. Lets take a closer look at these two points. As far as Arum is concerned, what better way to ruin Chavez than have him weight drain down to fight Canelo and then lose his last contracted fight with Arum. Chavez clearly isn't on Arums favorite list anymore. At this point, I think Arum would love nothing more than to see Chavez weight drained and then KO'd.Comment
