I never understand why any fighter signs with a boxers promotional company.

None of these company's do anything in this sport. Being a good fighter has nothing to do with running a company.

Only reason oscars did ok was because he didn't do anything and had major $ backing them, and now that that is gone, his company has quickly been driven to irrelevance outside of Canelo.

On a Puerto Rican related note, Felix Verdejo fights this weekend. Admittedly I have not seen him fight but have heard a lot about him. Excited to watch him fight.

Verdejo has a sense of timing that is superb. Fighters with great timing are really not common. Verdejo has that down, among other solid skills.

Big fan of Vazquez Sr. I got his autograph at the Mayweather fight the week before Oscar and Trinidad fought. Vasquez Sr. is a very likable guy.
