Two rusians this weekend

Grigory Drozd- Watched the fight against Krzysztof Wlodarczyk and was very impressed. The guys is physically stronger than anyone i've seen in the division and seemed to break the pollak down with his jab, looked like a decent fight for the Russian against a solid opponent.

Artur Beterbiev- Looked everything, strong fast and had great technical skills. Put together beautiful combinations, Could be the future of the light heavyweight division.

How come light heavy and cruiser are divisions so dominated by europeans? Bhop and Dawson seem to be the only relevant American names left..

One small addition about this weekend: Travoris cloud should have never been a light heavyweight, the guy is 5'10 and always should have been middle or super middle. Every single fight i've watch he gets physically bullied

Disappointed to hear that Lebedev and Drozd don't plan on ever fighting each other. Terrible.

There are plenty of Russian and Ukranien talents mainly in LHW and Cruiser. I don't include Drozd since he is 35 years old which is old neither Lebedev who IMO a limited brawler. However Beterbiev, Mekhontsev and Usyk are seem to be good and I heard that Kyudrashov and Gvozdyk have thegoods too but I didn't see them so far. And of course there is Kovalev who is overrated in my opinion to be honest and I think Hopkins will handle him.

And what about the two african CW guy? Do you think that they have a bright future as well? I think about Mchunu and Makabu.
IMO just 2 years and all the current LHW and CW beltholders will change. If B-Hop unifies as I waitfor him he will retire. And I'm not high on the currently CW titleholders. Maybe Hernandez is the best among them, Huck and Lebedev are seem to pretty simplistic and Drozd is too old.

I just checked the boxrec CW ratings and there are also a Brazil guy William Fernando Souza with a 38 (37) - 0 -0 resume and a Cuban guy Yunior Dorticos with 18(17) -0- 0 resume. It seems like this division could be vvery interesting in the near future. Just like the LHW.
