I though he looked good too. I waanted Branco to win. He fought like crap though. Weird how Malinaggi was doing the translating.

All is well bud, how bout you? Oh yes, last Sat. was great...well, the second half anyway! I watched the Lacy fight first, then flipped it over to HBO for the Cotto fight. Very good night of boxing, for a change!

Yep Cotto handed Branco a brutal beating. Branco just looked pained from everything Cotto was throwing at him. Good win indeed.

To me it seems like top rank is moving Cotto backwards instead of forward by taking the Branco and Malignaggi fights.Cotto did look impressive but what did Branco bring to the dance?
Now he's set to take on Malignaggi who in my mind is still a prospect and has no punching power.I've watched Cotto's last 5 fights and everytime he throws his hooks he is open to counter shots.Right now i think Hatton,Mayweather,Witter and maybe even Gatti all beat him.

Where's the Cotto vs. Gianluca threads?
