Comments Thread For: Curtis Stevens: Once N'Dam Sees My Speed - Man Down!

Brooklyn, NY: This Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, Curtis "Showtime" Stevens (27-4, 20 KOs) will face Hassan N'Dam (30-1, 18 KOs) for the #1 position in the IBF. Over the last several weeks and months, he has stepped up his training camp routine to prepare for this fight and put himself in the best possible position to win on Oct. 1.

The 29-year old from Brownsville in Brooklyn, NY has always been known for his power with an impressive 74% (20 of 27) knockout-to-win ratio but, this time around, in addition to his power, "Showtime" has added speed to his game. The new training routine developed by his trainer/uncle, Andre Rozier, includes a huge cardio component to strengthen Stevens' endurance and improve his speed.

      WAR STEVENS!!

Although it's good he is working on his speed, he needs to improve his boxing skills, he might have to take a decision because N'Dam is very durable. I don't see N'Dam staying down, and he will not always be as lucky as he was with Tureano.

Sevens will knock Nindamg or what he calls himself out anyway. Bad style for Nindamg. To much power and speed for the african.

I think Stevens loses this one.

Kid Choco was the only one to beat N'Dam and it was a hard fight. Stevens just doesn't box enough to set up the shots needed to take N'Dam out. It will be a fire fight and N'Dam can be very tough. This is a good fight but I expect N'Dam to be the more effective fighter.

Stevens will probably get outboxed and then end up clipping N'Dam hard and knocking him out.

Stevens also has what Choco had to beat him, KO power. Stevens's best bet is to counter him coming in....Stevens is a better finisher than Quillin is also

N'Dam is going to get stopped. If Quillin dropped him six times then Stevens is going to knock him out.
