Thurman has no defense. He is always on the attack, that can hurt him against skilled fighters

It's a 50/50 Fight, I think Thurman would win but yeah if Alexander comes in with the right gameplan he can win as well

If he could beat beat alexander, then we'll know for sure he's the real deal.
Alexander put on a hell of a show with Karas and has the ability to step up when necessary, especially versus a fighter that won't allow him to hold like Keith.

Not really, he switched it up and altered the paced versus Chavez pretty well

I don't see how you guys think Alexander can "outbox" Thurman, who's a good boxer himself.

Alexander needs to be the first to the punch and also use some aggression and try to push Thurman back through some rounds as well. If you watch the Diaz fight, Thurman had issues against Diaz in the 3rd round I think or maybe the 4th before he quit, he was backing Thurman up, and hitting him with some good shots, not to say any of that affected him, but his defense is leaky, and he doesn't like boxing backing up, he's more prone to throw harder wider power shots when he's backing up which would give Devon enough opportunity to score punches........good fight, could be boring, but who cares, I expect Thurman to get exposed in the next year. Thurman is a hype job like Porter, both 154lbers fighting at the 147 lb weight limit, there is a reason they are fighting in lower weight classes than they did in the amateurs.

he should be ok against alexander then. alexander is very limited as a boxer and his offense isnt that great.

I'm open to taking on bets for Devon by decision if the fight gets made.

I'll give you a shout if it gets made!

Really there's no reason this fight shouldn't be made, it'd be disgraceful not to make it. There's literally not 1 good reason as to why it can't happen. Both are with the same manager/promoter and network, both are back in November, both have said they want to fight eachother, so what on earth could stop this from happening?

                      No!

Once Alexander feels the power.. It will be a track meet!! Or hug fest!! Maybe even intentional head butts.. Or take the easy way out ala Bradley, "I can't see".. This is a step back for thurman!

Thurman/Bradley would be better.. Or thurman/brook! Cause I know for sure Kahn won't get in there with him!
