Beterbeiv, man...that was impressive...that was my first time seeing him fight and he looks damn good. Very big LHW who moves fluidly and changes levels which is how he fired that right hand over the top of Cloud's right, that was nice. Only 6-0? FFS, where did they make this kid. Only drawback to the night was that Cloud looked very soft so Beterbiev will probably meet tougher tests from other lesser known dudes who are simply more in shape than Cloud appeared to be. Anyway, good showing from Beterbiev!

I'll be very interested in who he fights next.

Perhaps Campillo, because he needs some experience against slick boxers. And it wouldn't hurt to keep him busy against Dawson, Shumenov, Murat, Agnew, and Sillakh.

Someone like Fonfara or Chilemba would provide a tough test.

I think he beats them all.... Chilemba would be interesting, but he might grind out a decision.

He'll beat the dog shit out of Fonfara too.

What was freaky, is that Cloud has some power, and he did land. Beterbiev did not even react or blink. Now Cloud is not a monstrous puncher, but that Beterbiev dude had no reaction at all. Just kept moving forward.

The dude has 6 wins and only one of note over a faded, never has been guy like cloud..

He did open some eyes and gain some recognition but way too early to proclaim this guy as a player in the lhw division

I didn't know this guy only had 6 fights. Cloud has always been pretty **** but to blitz him like that in only his 6th fight if pretty impressive.

Cloud has not been the same since the Campillo fight - he has made his $ and does not seem interested anymore. He laid down, no veteran tactics, he did not try to see if Beterbiev could go some rounds , nothing.... Campillo started the downfall, Bhop put the nail in the coffin. Beterbiev did what he had to do - get him in there with Fonfara, that's a test..

But I agree he looked terrible, I'm not sure he was really that hurt, just looked like one of those boxers that's lost all his willpower, maybe it was his jaw. I don't think I saw him really off balance, he just sort of fell over each KD.




I can see this guy taking out both Kovalev and Stevenson, both very chinny fighters, should he develop. I want to see him vs better competition, he looks easy to hit and a bit slow with his footwork, I'm also curious as to see if his power is legit.

It's legit alright. Plenty of KOs in the amateurs, and knockdowns against top competition at HW too. His defense is pretty good actually... Pascal had trouble landing anything clean in their sparring.

Lol... that KO from the opposite angle looks like Artur just shoved the opponent down with his fist for the KO. Strong as an ox.
