Kiel, Germany - British middleweight Matthew Macklin (31-5) opened Sauerland Eventīs big show at the Sparkassen Arena with a hardfought eight round majority decision over Spainīs Jose Yebes (12-6-1). It was scored 77-75 twice and 76-76. Macklin was not in top shape and struggled against a tough but luckily for Matthew light-punching opponent.
