I was thinking similar scenarios. He doesn't look to have the healthiest life style from his appearance, and his work is obviously stressful. Anybody know how old he is, 60 something I guess.

On Friday's SiriusXM's "At the Fights," caller Jimmy Paige, a Los Angeles-based attorney and long time fight fan and friend of the show, called in to give the news about Dan Goossen. Paige said he was at a boxing dinner last week in the Los Angeles area when an announcement about Goossen was made at the dinner. The talk is he is suffering from Cancer.

Goossen is currently at a undisclosed hospital in California.

Goossen is truly one of the good guys in boxing and we pray for his recovery.

Dan Goosen has what my Uncle died of. Thats sad. Colon Cancer is a deadly disease, Anything I have ever said that was negative about goosen, I wish I could take back.
