I forgot about Broner vs. Taylor, . I should've put it instead of Soto vs. Molina or Marquez vs. Alvarado, which was more of a one-sided fight.

I don't know how to embed because I'm **** but the link works. Round 5 was incredible. Both men down. One down twice, the other three times in the fifth and once before that.

Both of these fights were great wars and deserve a mention.
I forgot about Eto vs. Diale, .

And I haven't seen Vor Saengthep vs. Kogawa, I'll have to check it out.

If I'm not mistaken wasn't Curtis Stevens Vs johnson this year too? That was fight of the year caliber in my estimation.

From those I've seen, Lucas-Molina and Coyle-Brizuela. A FOTY, seemingly self-evidently, should be about the FIGHT and its narrative rather than the fightERS who participate and their skill levels. That's what fighter of the year is for. Not saying that Crawford-Gamboa isn't a really good fight (it's to 5 most years) but in terms of drama, narrative and sustained action those are the two best I know of.

coyle brizuela has a maidana/ortiz moment, when coyle goes down by a body shot and when he gets up he sends brizuela down with the first punch he threw (a right hand) that moment was amazing

I voted Mayweather/Maidana won but I also missed half of of those fights and have to DL and watch them so my opinion could change when I do.

Takayama-Rodriguez and Salido-Kokietgym are the two best I've seen this year, in that order.
