Comments Thread For: Haye Fully Focused on Boxing, Halts Movie Career

Former two division champion David Haye has put his movie career plans on hold in a bid to get back into shape after undergoing reconstructive surgery on his shoulder.

The heavyweight boxer admitted he still dreams of becoming a big name in Hollywood one day but has had to put such aspirations on the back burner of late after requiring reconstructive surgery on his shoulder.

For a fighter that's not even fighting he sure talks a lot. Shut up until your back in boxing.
There's a thread on haye every other day. Haye this haye that Haye interested in wilder.
He should be interested in actually getting a fight under his belt. The guy haven't been fighting for mad long now saying he wants the winner of the wilder fight. I view his threads has day dreams he probably won't even fight again and if he does won't be till 2016 so he should really shut up cause by the time he fights again the wilder fight he interested in would be 2 years old.

Haye knows he can get away with this BS because SkySports love him and the British casual fans lap him up every time he says something.

Think about it, he was impressive as a cruiserweight and since being heavyweight took on people like Monte Barret, John Ruiz, Nicolai Valuev, Audley Harrison...Not all that impressive for someone who the British press hyped up to be the second coming. Then he flops majorly in a HUGE fight with Wladimir Klitcshko, says he's retired, fights Derek Chisora, disappears again, resurfaces to fight Tyson Fury and twice the fight doesn't come to pass under reasons that some people dispute somewhat. Disappears again injured and with reports of him setting his sights on increasing his celebrity only to claim months later and two years after his last fight that he is back and ready to reclaim heavyweight gold...? Shame that it will be lapped up by the British casuals that Haye knows he has tapped into.

Haye's acting career is his boxing career with all those fake injuries and how he faked like he was going to take risks vs Vlad and played it safe just trying to survive. ...

Yeah back at the height of the moment that he seized a few years back I liked him too and I supported him in the Wlad fight. But his poor performance and even worse excuses, claims to fame, delusions of his own legacy, wanting to be famous more than a boxer etc all wore very thin with me since then...

Moving into the HW division Haye could have, and almost did, capture the imagination of thousands upon thousands of fans, but as my original post describes, he kind of blew it since then with the path he took. He was young-ish, athletic, has KO power, good looking, ****y and controversial etc...and like I said, there wasn't a casual in the UK that didnt think he was the next best thing...But look how he handled it.
If he shut up, got serious, knuckled down and worked up through the ranks and looked impressive then he will undoubtedly have my support back. If he stays the same then as far as I care he can stick to his TV appearances.
