This dude looks like a complete fruit cake, doesnt he? I mean, he has an obsession with head bands and seems to think that he gets extra brownie points by walking around looking like a tart. But he is talking up a fight with Cotto, and since they have both signed the contracts (I think), I want to see a bit more of this Malignaggi dude...

Could someone link me to one of his fights or upload a fight for me... I will pay points if it causes anyone inconvenience... Also, in his interviews with the BoxingScene staff he cant drop the word "nomsayin'"...

What are people's opinions on him? I have never seen him, but he is getting hyped a little...

malinaggi has talent but only a boxer, he has no power(could be due to his always injured hand) and has not had his chin tested yet(against a guy like Cotto thats not a good thing). I think he has a big mouth but he is the Ali of whiteboys minus all the talent, atleast not that we have seen yet. I pick Cotto just because he has experience and the tools of a fighter Malinagii has only speed and skills as a boxer but with all his inexperience and recent time off I dont see him coming out with any type of win.

Cotto's needs to step it up. How can he have so many huggers when he doesn't prove himself worthy. All that competition at Welterweight and that's all they could find? What a shame.

Cotto has 26 fights, not 40. His resume at 26 fights is more impressive than any other fighter in ANY division with that amount of fights.

( which seems to be the case ) i dont like cotto too much either, he himself is a C+/B- fighter with great potential, but right now hes still too green! ALL in ALL this fight is pointless because the winner is probably going to fight Castillo/Corrales to which all 4 will lose to Mayweather, Hatton, Zab, and Margirito

He may put on a good performance, but what does a good performance mean if you get knocked out?

Paulie will either quit like most of Cotto's opponents, or will be knocked out. He boxes well, but he gets hit, and getting hit by a powerhouse like Cotto will make him cringe!
