  • Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux's Manager: Santa Cruz Not Fooling Anybody!

Despite the difficulty in finding an opponent for his star man, Guillermo Rigondeaux, manager Gary Hyde is feeling positive ahead of one of his other fighters’ chances next week against Curtis Stevens. Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam has been training in California for this IBF eliminator, and Hyde spoke to BoxingScene from their training camp via telephone on Wednesday.

“Hassan’s got to be switched on all the time, he can’t start trading to please the crowd, that’s what he did against [Peter] Quillin and it ended up bad for him,” said the Irishman.

Rigondeaux vs. Santa Cruz. This should be an easy fight for Oscar to make. Get it done!

Santa Cruz calls out Rigondeaux and then fights janitors

It allows his fans to say "Oh look he wants to fight Rigo but they just won't let him."

        Great tactic.

The fight can be made but remember that they have to be able to sell the fight to a network. HBO or showtime would rather make Mares vs Santa Cruz or Frampton than any fight with Rigo.
            It's simply the facts.

lsc vs Manuel Roman (WHO) was easily sold to showtime.

Same excuse as ever. Do you really think that a fight between LSC and Rigo wont sell?. Or a least, do you believe the last 5 fights of LSC will sell more than a fight with Rigo? Is clear he is afraid to be another Nonito like everyone else. Besides, I don;t know why he is afraid because GB can buy the judges like he did to Canelo with Lara.
