Pac needs that tax money I guess. I doubt Floyd will ever work with Arum so they need to start considering the next best thing Pac vs Garcia, Pac vs Broner, Pac vs Miadana, etc. Floyd is probably fighting Khan next the WBC #1 contender (you guys probably forgot they did this), or Maybe Cotto the WBC middle weight champ.

ummm... pretty much the whole world is calling him a coward except for a handful of diehard nuthuggers. Even Stephen A. Smith (a Floyd nuthugger on TV) admitted Floyd is ducking on ESPN.

I'm a fan of Floyd, but if Showtime and HBO come together and put him in a position to where he has to fight Manny I truly think he'll retire.Comment

Well you do not understand what is going on then , if people cut all the BS and just keep actively calling for the fight we might just get what we want , all these years and Manny has never actively called him out HIMSELF , always its up to my promoter , what does that tell you , it tells me alongside of the running away from a 50/50 offer over Ped testing and then turning down a 40 million purse with Floyd phoning him directly that Manny did not want the fight , now he wants to cash in so comes out from under Bobs skirt , wtf , these idiot fanboys in here are over run with hate and they can see nothing .
Floyd probably wont do anything until after Manny fights in Nov , he is the quite one and has for the last few years its fanboys screaming and jumping up and down asking and answering their own questions , its called hate panic syndrome , just cool it and see what transpires , Manny himself needs to push for this fight and it will happen .Comment

Why doesn't the WBC just go ahead and mandate the fight? Pacquiao dumps the WBO belt, fights Abregu (WBC #2), and is deemed the mandatory challenger.Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, who works very closely with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, says the cable networks must come together to push the issue with a deal being reached for a mega-fight unification between Pacquiao and WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Pacquiao has an exclusive deal with HBO, and Mayweather is under contract with Showtime. In 2002, the two networks came together to stage a very anticipated heavyweight pay-per-view fight between Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis.

Fight goes to a purse bid, whatever promoter willing to put up the most money gets the fight, and the fight ends up happening.
not that hard ... if Arum actually wanted to make the fight.Comment

What kind of bothers me is that some people use this as proof that Floyd has no problem with southpaws when they don't seem to realize that there's an obvious difference between low-risk southpaws (the four that he's faced) and high-risk southpaws (the four that he didn't).Southpaws that Floyd has faced:
1. Zab Judah
2. Victor Ortiz
3. Chop Chop
4. The Ghost
Umm wow that's some list lol... and this guy is TBE? lol Really?
Notable Southpaws that Floyd flirted with fighting but never fought:
1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Winky Wright at 154
3. Sergio Martinez
4. Paul WilliamsComment
